NGARA CREATIVE HUB
Where creativity meets community

NBST Africa is dedicated to fostering thriving communities across Africa’s cities—rooted in creativity, cultural expression, and collective empowerment.Once a bustling commercial hub, Ngara is now being reimagined as a vibrant creative and cultural district, a home for artists, entrepreneurs, and young innovators shaping Nairobi’s future. Through regenerative urbanism, NBST is demonstrating how climate responsibility and community well-being can exist side by side.
The district is a living model of urban transformation. Within it, organisations such as the Art of Music Foundation (Ghetto Classics) and Inspire Spaces nurture young talent through music, mentorship, and creative opportunity. Together with anchor institutions like Sarakasi Dome, The Living Rooms, and dynamic spaces such as kali.works, Soma Nami Books, and Ngara Cooks, Ngara reflects the authentic spirit and cultural excellence of Nairobi.
From carbon-neutral buildings to locally sourced, clean-energy infrastructure, Ngara is setting new standards for sustainable and inclusive urban development. Its growing visibility, including recent recognition in Condé Nast Traveler’s “Best Places to Go in 2026” underscores a powerful truth: Ngara is more than a neighbourhood; it is a movement transforming how cities imagine their creative futures.
